from the Torah on
the occasion of her
bat mitzvah on Saturday, Dec. 10, at
Temple Israel in West Bloomfield. She
will be joined in celebration by her
proud siblings Ryan, Caroline, Faren
and Ellie. Marli is the grandchild of
Helena and Dr. Edward Bartholomew,
Alice and the late Burt Herman, and
Karolyn and Arie Leibovitz.
Marli is a student at Derby Middle
School in Birmingham. As part of her
mitzvah project, she organized a yoga
fundraiser from which all proceeds
were donated to Susan G. Komen
Breast Cancer Research.

Harrison Andrew
Feber will become a
bar mitzvah on
Saturday, Dec. 10, at
B’nai Israel
Synagogue in West
Bloomfield. He is the
son of Susan and
Feber
David Feber and the
brother of Max and
Julia. Proud grand-
parents are Dan and Lorraine Feber,
and Frieda Langnas. He is also the
grandson of the late Joseph Langnas.
Harry is a seventh-grade student
at Hillel Day School of Metropolitan
Detroit in Farmington Hills. For one
mitzvah project, he blew the shofar for
residents of Jewish Senior Life.

Bloomfield Hills. Maya Jillian is named
in loving memory of Rivka’s great-
aunt, Mary Gifford, David’s maternal
grandmother, Mary Williamson, and
David’s maternal grandfather, John
Williamson. Jonah Zev is named in
loving memory of Rivka’s maternal
grandfather, Jay Garver, and her
paternal grandfather, Henry Wolf. The
twins were born on Canada Day, which
celebrated the Weintrops’ Canadian
roots.

Saturday, Dec. 10.
Sharing in her simchah will be grand-
parents Suzanne and John Dreifus of
Farmington Hills, Judy and Larry
Greenberg of Monsey, N.Y., and many
friends and family from around the
country.
Emma is a seventh-grade student at
Derby Middle School in Birmingham.
For her mitzvah project, she enjoyed
collecting fleece blankets to donate to
those in need this winter.

found to be very meaningful.
