GENDLER, 59, of
Oak Park, passed
away suddenly Nov.
14, 2016.
She graduated
from Henry Ford
High School and
Gendler
Oakland Community
College, where she
received an associ-
ate’s degree. As a child, Frances loved
traveling around Michigan with her
family. She had a beautiful voice, loved
all types of music and had a vast col-
lection of records. She worked the last
21 years at Hollywood market.
Frances had many friends; her best
friends were Lee Ann Lack (from
grade school) and Sherwin Newman,
companion. Kadima was her home for
many years. She loved her family and
friends and will be dearly missed by
all.
She is survived by her mother,
Shirley Gendler-Goldstein; sister and
brother-in-law, Deborah and Jim
Farrar of Milan; loving nephews, Tyler
and Will Farrar; aunt, Frieda Sherman;
many loving cousins.
Frances was the beloved daughter of
the late Harold Gendler; sister of the
late Susan Marsha; niece of the late
Fred Sherman.
