“My recent meal included a very tasty
broiled whitefish, lightly seasoned with
mixed vegetables. Lou and Kevin each
enjoyed the specials of cream of broc-
coli soup and a very large, hot and tasty
chicken pot pie. Emile always orders the
clam chowder and half a grilled cheese and
ham sandwich because he loves it so much.
Jim enjoyed Alia’s cod fish and chips that
he says were crispy on the outside, tender
and moist inside. We all shared fresh falafel
and hummus. Our salads included house
Apolinia dressings that are gluten-free and
all-natural. The portions were large and
priced reasonably.”
OLDIE BUT GOODIE … After a day
of fishing, Moishe is walking from the pier
carrying two rare fish in a bucket. He is
approached by the game warden who asks
him for his fishing license. Moishe says to
the warden, “I didn’t catch these fish. They
are my pets. Every day I come down to the
water and whistle, and these fish jump out.
I take them for a swim and return them at
the end of the day.”
The game warden, not believing him,
reminds Moishe that it is illegal to fish with-
out a license, and a heavy fine is given for
illegally fishing rare fish.
Moishe turns to the warden and says,
“If you don’t believe me, then watch,” as he
throws the fish back into the water.
The game warden says, “Now whistle to
your fish and show me that they will come
out of the water.”
Moishe turns to the warden and says,
“What fish?”
