Fine Dining In Comfortable Detroit Setting
L
ocated on the second floor of a brownstone at John R
and Woodward Avenue and named after the jewelry
store that used to there, Wright & Company is a shin-
ing example of Detroit’s blooming restaurant scene.
Aside from the fine dining menu, Wright & Company
boasts classic architecture and is welcoming and rich with
quality and style. Owners Dave Kwiatkowski (Sugar House)
and Chef Marc Djozlija bring extensive expertise to the 120-
seat venue design as well as the drink and food menus.
International wines, specialty cocktails and craft beer
complement a small shared plate menu with favorites that
include Crispy Shrimp and Pork Belly Sliders.
“Our menu is what we call ‘composed small plates.’

MENU
Not typical. Don’t expect salads and dinner rolls with your
meal. You won’t miss them as the small plates are more than
satisfying. There is a lot of talk about the Whipped Ricotta and
the Liver Mousse. Yes, really.
BAR
Expect extraordinary cocktail combos from an ever-evolving
menu. Peruse an exclusive list of ciders ranging from dry to
sweet. Of course, there is craft beer and an array of red, white
and rose wines as well as a list of proclaimed “baller” wines.

Wright & Company, you can expect a fully developed plate,
just smaller than an a la carte portion,” Djozlija says.
Open since July of 2014, Wright & Company has a histo-
ry of being very active in the Detroit community, participat-
ing in events for the Michigan Humane Society, Children’s
Tumor Foundation and Variety, the Children’s Charity.
