Florine Mark, president and CEO of the Weight Watchers Group
Inc. based in Farmington Hills, was presented with the 2016
Entrepreneurial Champion Luminary Award in Scottsdale, Ariz. This
award goes to outstanding women for their corporate, entrepreneur-
ial, STEM and philanthropic innovations. Mark is the largest fran-
chise holder of Weight Watchers International.

The Holocaust Memorial Center Zekelman Family Campus in
Farmington Hills has promoted Ruth Stern of West Bloomfield to
administrator from development associate. In addition to playing a
crucial role in donor development and outreach at the center, Stern
is responsible for administrative functions including supervising and
training associate employees and managing gifts, memberships and
email lists.
