Nancy Wilhelm of Farmington Hills is retiring after 37 years of exceptional dedication to Adat Shalom Synagogue in Wilhelm Farmington Hills. She is the longest-standing clerical staffer in Adat Shalom’s history, only surpassed as a staff member by Cantor Larry Vieder, of blessed memory, who served the syna- gogue for 40 years. Oakland County Commissioner Shelley Goodman Taub (R-Bloomfield Township) was sworn in as the new president of the Michigan Association of Counties Board of Directors by her son, attorney Adam Taub, at the annual MAC Legislative Conference in Boyne Mountain. Commissioner Taub was unanimously appointed by the MAC Board, consisting of 16 county commissioners from across Michigan. In her new lead- ership role, she will work closely with the board to set all poli- cies for the organization, serving 83 counties and representing more than 622 elected county commissioners.
