RAPOPORT, 95, of
Farmington Hills, died
Oct. 15, 2016.
He is survived by his

Rapoport and Kimberly
Davis; Rhoda’s children, Milton and Susie
Gross, Debbie and Gary Gold, Wendy and
Bruce Simrod, Randy Gross and Jed Smith;
sister, Lorraine Greenberg; grandchil-
dren, Amy (Daniel) Miller, Vicki Bracey,
Zachary Schram, Justin (Kate) Schram,
Alison (Daniel) Gorovitz, Laura (Ryan)
Trager, Ilana (Richard) Bone; great-grand-
children, Hayden and Max Miller, Tyler
and Cade Bracey, Avery Trager; many
other loving family members and friends.
Mr. Rapoport was the beloved husband
of the late Harriet Rapoport and the late
Rhoda Gross Rapoport; the brother of the
late Gladys Blumenfield.
Contributions may be made to
Hadassah. Interment took place at
Machpelah Cemetery in Ferndale.

GERALD M. TEPER,
89, of Farmington Hills,
died Oct. 14, 2016.
He graduated from
Wayne State University
Pharmacy School in
1952 and practiced
pharmacy for more
Teper
than 55 years. He
c. 1944
owned Apex Drugs in
Highland Park and was
a partner in a small chain of drug stores
called Capital Drugs in Lansing. He also
worked full time and then part time for
Borman’s.
Mr. Teper was an avid chess player
and competed in chess tournaments
at the World Open and National Chess
Championship Tournaments. He was
devoted to his conjoined family and
loved spending time with his children,
grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He survived by his beloved wife,
Miriam “Mimi” Teper; daughter, Abby
Teper; son, Martin Sosnick; grand-
children, Adam (Lauren) Sosnick,
Jennifer (Dr. Sylvan) Fain, Brandon
(Jamie) Rosen, Hayley Rosen (fiance,
Justin Brook); great-grandchildren, Rory
Fain, Sydney and Bryson Rosen; many

loving nieces, nephews, other family
members and friends.
Mr. Teper was the father of the late
Marc Rosen; the brother of the late
Evelyn Jacobs.
Contributions may be made to the
Jewish Hospice and Chaplaincy Network
or to Jewish Family Services. Interment
took place at Adat Shalom Memorial
Park in Livonia. Arrangements by
Dorfman Chapel.

MAIDA
ZUCKERMAN, 85, of
Southfield, died Oct.
14, 2016.
She is survived by
her beloved husband,
Jerry Zuckerman;
son and daughter-in-

law, Joel Zuckerman
and Deborah Baillie;
daughters and sons-
in-law, Barbara and David Osentoski,
Julie and Sam Intramanee, Diane and
Aaron Zack; sister and brother-in-law,
Laura and Burton Roth; sister-in-law,
Selma Silverman; grandchildren, Evan
Osentoski, Danielle (Michael) Rolando,
Justin and Sara Intramanee; many loving

nieces, nephews, other family members
and friends.
Mrs. Zuckerman was the sister of the
late Merle Silverman.
Contributions may be made to a char-
ity of one’s choice. Interment took place
at Beth Moses Cemetery in Clinton
Township. Arrangements by Dorfman
Chapel.
