Oct. 15, at Temple
Wolberg
Shir Shalom in West
Bloomfield. She is
the granddaughter of Connie Wolberg,
Sheila Stone, Jain and Carl Lauter, the
late Gerald Wolberg and the late
Ronald Stone.
Maya is a student at Norup
International Middle School in Oak
Park. For her mitzvah project, Maya
raised funds for Stand Up To Cancer
and held a yoga session to help aware-
ness.

Micole Sloane

becomes a bat mitz-
vah at Temple Israel
in West Bloomfield
on Saturday, Oct. 15.
She will be joined in
Wolfe
celebration by her
proud parents, Sarah
and Todd Wolfe, and
brother Ari. Micole is the grandchild

of Harold and the late Avis Wolfe, and
Laurie and Howard Novetsky.
She attends West Hills Middle
School in Bloomfield Hills. As part
of her mitzvah project, Micole deliv-
ered meals to seniors in the Jewish
Federation Apartments through
Berkley-based Yad Ezra. She found
this experience to be very meaningful.

lead the congrega-
tion in prayer as he
celebrates his bar
mitzvah at Temple
Zakucia
Israel in West
Bloomfield on
Friday, Oct. 14. He
will be joined in celebration by his
sister Emilie and proud grandparents
Martin Feldman, Marsha Feldman
and Thomas Zakucia.
Evan is a student at West Hills
Middle School in Bloomfield Hills. As
part of his mitzvah project, he volun-
teered at the West Bloomfield-based
Friendship Circle, playing basketball
with individuals with special needs.
He found this experience to be very
rewarding.

ern Lutz will turn 94 years young on
Oct. 20. She will celebrate with her lov-
ing family. Her children are Candy and
Terry Rosen, Lee and Susan Lutz, Lauren and
Mark Rosenberg. She has 10 grandchildren
and 10 great-grandchildren.
