The others are Rise & Shine: Breakfast for Dinner, hosted by Marie Slotnick of Pleasant Ridge; a Mediterranean meal, hosted by Elaine Webber and Barry Chesterman of Huntington Woods; Supper on the Seine, a French feast hosted by Ilene and Neil Cantor of Huntington Woods; and Farm to Table, highlight- ing Michigan’s bounty, hosted by Laura Hirschhorn of Huntington Woods. Called the Partrich Soccer Field and named after the benefactors who underwrote its cost, the field was completed after nearly a year of work and required more than 2,400 yards of topsoil and 11,170 yards of sod. The Michigan Israel Business Bridge (MIBB) will hold its 2016 Ambassador Awards Dinner 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, at the Westin in Southfield. MIBB will be presenting two awards at the dinner along with a special recognition of economic partners. The Chuck Newman Impact Award will be pre- sented to Michael Levine of Pinckney. He is an engineer, entrepreneur and inven- tor with more than 60 patents and a supporter of MIBB and its Educational Foundation since Day 1. The Volunteer of the Year award will be presented to Stan Meretsky, who began his career in advertising.
