brother Alexander and proud grand-
parents Rose Rita and Sheldon
Goldman, Iris and Fred Radner, and
Dr. Arnold Aaron.
Sophia is a student at West Hills
Middle School in Bloomfield Hills. For
one mitzvah experience, she raised
funds for the Israel Guide Dog Center
for the Blind to raise awareness and
help support the center’s mission to
improve the quality of life for blind
people by providing services, guide
dogs and charities for the blind. She
found this experience to be most
meaningful.

in Farmington Hills.

She attends Hillel Day School of
Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington
Hills. As part of her mitzvah proj-
ect, Kadie has been involved with
PeerCorps Detroit, a program of
Repair the World, volunteering at an
after school center in Detroit, which
she found to be very rewarding.

Nathan is a student at Derby Middle
School in Birmingham. As one of his
many mitzvah projects, he assisted
young children in A Day on the Lake
for Kids Kicking Cancer. He has found
his volunteering experiences to be
meaningful and rewarding.

will mark her 92nd birthday on Oct.
27. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa,
but lived most of her life in Detroit. Dorothy
was a kindergarten teacher for 27 years and
raised two sons, Michael and Larry.
