Walk4Friendship

A beautiful day, plenty of activities
and a great cause!

T

his year's Friendship Circle Walk4Friendship drew 4,000 particpants —
creating a sea of purple T-shirts no matter if they were gathered at the
Jewish Community Center in West Bloomfield or on their way to the
Farber Soul Center one mile north.
Aside from raising $530,000 toward its goal of $600,000, the Sept. 4 event
offered many activities for families, including inflatables, a Segway challenge,
arts and crafts, virtual reality headsets to test, a demonstration by speed painter
Dave Santia, the Tumblebus, food and carnival rides.
A highlight was the beautiful day and the enthusiasm of those who partici-
pated to help children with special needs and their families. To donate, go to

This year, participants walked from the JCC north to the Farber Soul Center.
