An immigrant to Palestine in 1927 from Warsaw, Poland, Sam Jedwab served in the Haganah and was a veteran of Israel’s War of Independence. Fulfilling the mitzvah of tzedakah was extremely impor- tant to him, and he generously supported numerous charitable organizations and individuals in need. He was a cherished member of Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center.
