SHAAREY ZEDEK
SISTERHOOD TO STAGE
DINNER THEATER

Congregation Shaarey Zedek’s
“Sisterhood Players” will hit the
stage this fall at its opening meeting
with a special production of Judi
Schram’s What Am I Doing Here?
The readers-theater-style perfor-
mance piece evolved from Schram’s
book Lights Out in the Attic, a
humorous and sometimes poignant
look at aging for the women of the
boomer generation. The piece is
drawn from Schram’s blog and is
written in the style and spirit of
Shel Silverstein.
The Shaarey Zedek production
features Helene Cherrin, Eileen
Glogower, Betsy Heuer and Robin
Lash, with Schram as narrator. It
will take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday,
Sept. 20, and is open to the com-
munity. The cost is $35 to non-
Sisterhood members and includes
drinks and dinner catered by
Annabel Cohen, followed by the
performance.
Schram’s book will be available
for purchase at the event and is
available at judismusings.com. To
RSVP, call (248) 357-5544 ext. 48 or
email sisterhood@csz.org.
