She is the loving Sherr daughter of Andrea and Roger Sherr and sister of Mitchel and Spencer. Valarie is the grandchild of Harriet and the late I. William Sherr, Carol and Joe Nederlander, and the late Michael Jacoby. She is a student at Berkshire Middle School in Birmingham. Valarie par- ticipated in many mitzvah projects but felt her most meaningful experience was taking part in the Variety Feeds Kids program. Jordyn Alexis Zeldes will celebrate her bat mitzvah at the Birmingham Temple in Farmington Hills on Saturday, Sept. 3. Jordyn is the daugh- Zeldes ter of Drs. Steven and Geri Zeldes, and sister to Gabriel, Tommy and Eli. She is the grand- daughter of Martin and Beverly Zeldes of Naples, Fla., and Dr. Evelyn Alumit of Flint.
