JSL TO HONOR
CAROL ROSENBERG

Carol Rosenberg, director of the
Jewish Senior Life Foundation, has
announced her retirement after close
to four decades of serving seniors in
the community. She will be honored
with a Celebration of Service event
featuring Lily Tomlin on Thursday,
Oct. 13, with details to come.
Rosenberg
joined Jewish
Home & Aging
Services (prede-
cessor agency to
JSL) in 1980. Her
nationally recog-
nized expertise
in the field of
Carol
aging and older
Rosenberg
adults has not only
allowed JSL to develop and imple-
ment more productive and efficient
services, but it has also allowed JSL to
expand and become a national leader
among service providers to older
adults.
She played a key role in the merger
of Jewish Apartments and Services
with Jewish Home & Aging Services,
a union that resulted in better and
more cost-effective services for the
entire community.
She will remain with JSL as long
as needed and will work with CEO
Nancy Heinrich to support the transi-
tion of her position to Fran Victor,
newly appointed chief development
officer and JSL Foundation direc-
tor. Victor comes to JSL and the JSL
Foundation following three years
as chief development officer at JVS
(Jewish Vocational Service) and has
a long history with Jewish Senior
Life.
