Sept. 11. Professor Amy Simon, the
new chair, will speak on the subject of
teaching the Holocaust in the 21st cen-
tury to youth in today’s troubled world.
Simon is a Ph.D. from Indiana
University’s Jewish Studies program.
She worked at the United States
Holocaust Memorial Museum in
Washington, D.C., and taught at
University of Maryland.
There will be a dessert reception.
