rica Karp and Benjamin Auslander
were recently married at Temple
Israel surrounded by their fam-
ily and dearest friends. The ceremony was
officiated by Rabbi Harold Loss, Rabbi Paul
Yedwab and Cantor Neil Michaels.
Thrilled parents are Dr. Martin and
Debbie Karp of West Bloomfield, and Ira and
Marcia Auslander of Farmington Hills.
The couple were honored that the bride’s
maternal grandmother Rose Bohm could be
part of the wedding.
Erica works for Shinola, and Benjamin
works for ChargePoint. The couple met
when they were teenagers, went to prom together and reconnected in Detroit in
2014.
They honeymooned in South Africa, Zambia and Mauritius and now reside in
Birmingham.

eva and Sandy Rosenfeld of West
Bloomfield will celebrate their
60th wedding anniversary on
Aug. 26. They feel blessed to mark the occa-
sion at a dinner with their children, Diane
Swimmer, Amy Peterman, Cindy and Itsik
Rozin, and their grandchildren, Michael,
Drew, Josh and Shannon Swimmer, Amanda
and Jack Peterman, and Jonnie, Gilad and
Zion Rozin. They will continue the celebra-
tion in the near future with a trip. Reva and
Sandy are looking forward to the next 60
years.
