DORIS PAUL, 86, of
West Bloomfield, died
Aug. 11, 2016.
Honored by many
charitable organi-
zations, Mrs. Paul
was a member of
Congregation B’nai
Paul
Moshe and its sister-
hood, and a fund was
made there in her hus-
band’s memory: the Lloyd J. Paul Health
Care Memorial Fund.
She was also a member of
Maimonides, ORT, Jewish War Veterans
and Hadassah. As a member of the
Prime Minister’s Club of Israel, Doris
and her husband were also honored by
Israeli Bonds and the Jewish Theological
Seminary.
Mrs. Paul was the beloved wife for 53
years of the late Dr. Lloyd Paul; devoted
mother of Dr. Sander Paul, Daniel Paul,
Dennis (Elissa) Paul and the late Steven
Paul; loving grandmother of Alex,
Zach and Evan Paul; cherished sister of
the late Betty (late Abe) Kole, the late
Morton (late Anne) Siegel; dear sister-
in-law of the late Hyman (late Sarah)
Sabbota; treasured niece of Natalie (late

David) Ryke. She is also survived by lov-
ing nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends.

Mrs. Rothman was the beloved wife
of the late William Rothman; the lov-

ing grandmother of the late Timothy
Rothman and the late Sara Frances
Schneiter; the dear sister of the late
Betty and the late Ken Israel. She was
also predeceased by her dear friend,
Elaine Lebenbom.
Interment was at Beth El Memorial
