DR. MAURRY SACK,
94, of West Bloomfield,
died Aug. 2, 2016.
He is survived by his
wife of 67 years, Annette
Sack; sons and daugh-
ters-in-law, Dr. Marshall
and Jody Sack, and Dr.
Sack
Bruce and Lee Sack;
c. 1944
daughter and son-in-law,
Sherry and Eric Wexler;
grandchildren, Geoffrey Sack, Anna and
Seth Rogers, Alexis Sack, Evan Sack and his
girlfriend, Lisa Stewart, Austin Wexler and
Jordyn Wexler; great-grandchildren, Slade
and Steele Rogers; many loving nieces,
nephews, cousins and friends.
Dr. Sack was the loving brother of the
late Sidney and the late Mary Sacks, and
the late Laura and the late Ben Figoten; the
dear brother-in-law of the late Bea and the
late Jack Sill; the devoted son of the late
Abraham and the late Sylvia Sack. He was
pre-deceased by his aunt and uncle, Sarah
and Max Levitt, who also helped raise him.
Interment was at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be made

EDWARD SCHUTZMAN, 72, passed away
Aug. 1, 2016, after a long illness. He was an
attorney and certified public accountant.
Mr. Schutzman was born in Detroit on
Jan. 21, 1944, and was a graduate of Wayne
State University and the University of
Michigan Law School. He will be remem-
bered as a man of great intelligence, integ-
rity and honesty who had a terrific sense of
humor.
He is survived by his loved and loving
wife of 49 years, Judith; his sister, Karen
(Eugene) Eisner; brother-in-law, Fred
(Kathie) Ostrow; sister-in-law, Marge (Tim
Peterson) Marx; eight nieces and nephews;
10 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mr. Schutzman was predeceased by
his parents Benjamin Schutzman and
Hilda Greenberg; and his stepfather, Abe
Greenberg.
Services were held. Contributions may be
made to the Jewish Community Federation,

Seltzer; brother-in-law of Lloyd Seltzer;
former husband of Lynne Master of
Huntington Woods, passed away peace-
fully on Sunday, July 17, in his
Hollywood Hills home surrounded by
his loving children and family.
Mr. Silverberg was a pioneer in the
Detroit advertising industry, serving
as a senior VP and the creative voice at
Doner Advertising in Southfield for 44
years. He won many local and national
awards for his imaginative and impact-
ful work including “Best of Show” by the
Creative Advertising Club of Detroit, the
Andy Award by the Advertising Club of

New York; and he was nominated for a
CLIO award for one of his national tele-
vision ad campaigns.
Mr. Silverberg’s passing was deeply
felt by many friends and colleagues
in the Detroit Metropolitan area, with
overwhelming responses and comments
such as: “Dale was my first mentor —
truly a kind, clever hall-of-fame ad man,
proud parent, unrepentant punster and
animal lover.” “He was kind, gentle, lov-
ing and a giant among men. A brilliant
writer that mentored countless others
who became excellent writers because
of him.”
As a passionate advocate for animals,
Mr. Silverberg volunteered for the
Detroit chapter of the National Humane
Society for 10 years. Contributions may
