On tap for Aug. 26 at 5:45 p.m. is Adat Shalom’s final outdoor Shabbat service of the summer season. The community is welcome. Picnic dinner reservations are required. $5 per adult (18 and older). Celebrating Life, a fundraising luncheon, on July 11 at Congregation Beth Ahm in West Bloomfield. The event featured special guest Dr. Daniel Hayes, president of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and clinical direc- tor of the Breast Oncology Program, University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center.
