She was born in Lodz, Poland, and survived the Shloss Holocaust along with c. 1996 her sister. She was an active volunteer and speaker for the Holocaust Memorial Center. Mrs. Shloss is sur- vived by her daughters, Loretta (Alan) Feinberg and Marla Shloss; sis- ter, Sophie Klisman; grandchildren, Sam (Christine) Stone, Robert (Reena) Stone and Elizabeth Flannery; great-grandchildren, Gary, Neil, Romee and Reed Stone. She was preceded in death by her hus- band of 56 years, Roman. Services were held out of state. Contributions may be made to the Holocaust Memorial Center of Michigan. SHIRLEY FINKELSTEIN SILVER, 85, of Farmington Hills, died July 9, 2016. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Silver; children, Andrea and Silver Jay Levin of Farmington Hills, Howard Silver of Chicago and Neil Silver of Troy; grandchildren, Rachel and Adam Kellert, Lindsay and Aaron Tlumak, Eric Steingold, Ari Levin, Shelby Levin, Shana Silver; great-grandchild, Jackson Tlumak; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Terry and Gene Waulet Greenberg; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Silver was the sister and sister- in-law of the late Anne and the late Abe Milgrom, and the late Eve and the late Carl Kligman. Interment was at Clover Hill Park Cemetery. He loved Mumford High, the Schvitz, a good meal, photog- raphy, listening to music, watching good TV shows and movies, Detroit sports, kibitz- ing, telling stories and cracking jokes. Mr. Smith is survived by his children, Randall and Pamela Smith, Dr. Ronna Smith-Craig and Dr. Steve Craig, Jodi Smith, Marney and Randy Schoenfeld; grandchildren, Alexandra, Amanda and Garrett Smith, Cameron and Jeremy Craig, and Sydney Schoenfeld; sister, Shirley Friedman; many other loving relatives and friends. WILNER, 85, of Sylvania, Ohio, passed away July 4, 2016, in his home. He was born in Detroit on Sept. 25, 1930, to Louis and Sophia Wilner. He had been a resident of Sylvania since 1985. Mr. Wilner was a 50-year-plus sales- man with J. Levin & Sons Co. and subse- quently the E.J. Thomas Co. of Toledo. He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War and was a member of Temple Shomer Emunim. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lorraine N. Myers; his children, Brian (Beth) Wilner and Cara Loomus; sister, Gwendolyn Taffel; grandchildren, Joseph and Michael Loomus. Services and interment were held at historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
