ose Fineman celebrated her
90th birthday at the home of her
daughter and son-in-law Judy and
Ron Ossipove, surrounded by close family,
including her children, grandchildren and
great-grandchildren. Rose’s son, Dr. Shel
Fineman, and his wife, Nancy, came in from
Virginia Beach, Va., for the occasion. Rose
was married to the late Albert Fineman.

Lebovic of West Bloomfield, are delighted

children Laura Gittleman and Joshua
Lebovic.
Laura is a graduate of Michigan State
University and earned her master’s
degree at Oakland University. She is a
math teacher at Hillel Day School of
Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington Hills.
Joshua is studying at Eastern Michigan
University to be a history teacher and has coached high school football at Groves
for the past six years.
A July wedding is planned; the couple will reside in the Metro Detroit area.

LOCAL AUTHORS SOUGHT FOR JEWISH BOOK FAIR

The Jewish Community Center of Metropolitan Detroit is in search of local
authors for its Annual Jewish Book Fair to be held in November.
Books should be written by Jewish authors and/or have Jewish content, must
have a Michigan connection and must have been published in 2015 or 2016.
Fiction, nonfiction, poetry, cookbooks and more will be considered, as will self-
published material.
Those whose works are selected to be included will have the opportunity to
participate in an event for local authors and will have their books available for
sale at the Book Fair. The deadline for submissions is July 15, 2016. For submis-
sion guidelines, contact Sarah Gottlieb at bubesarah@aol.com.
