MARTIN “MARTY” MURAV, 86, of West Bloomfield, died June 14, 2016. He was a genuinely good human being. During the Depression, at the age of 7, he had Murav his own paper route in order to help out with expenses at home. Up until his mother’s death, he called her daily, visited her several times a week and took her out for a whitefish dinner every Sunday night. His nickname in his wife Marsha’s fam- ily was “good and dependable” because he was always there when someone needed help of any kind. He was particularly close with Marsha’s sister, Marjorie Shuman Saulson. A lifelong Detroiter, Marty attended Wayne State University, where he earned a degree in pharmacy. He was co-owner of Warren Drugs with his dear friend, Seymour Eizelman, had a video game business and was active in real estate. Marty loved to make everyone smile, especially his five grandchildren. He leaves behind a legacy of caring, love and laugh- ter.
