Kaploe has joined the firm as a Shareholder and will work in
the firm’s Tax Practice Group. Kaploe has worked for the IRS
and later handled tax controversy cases, which have given him

lations and the IRS’s procedures. He will work to solve difficult
tax issues ranging from tax compliance to tax planning and
litigation.

Schwartz was born in Hungary 86 years
ago and travels the world educating
school children and many others with
his dream to leave a legacy of healing
and conflict resolution.

Jules B. Olsman,

sented with the
2016 Champion
of Justice Award
Olsman
by the Michigan
Association for Justice at its 71st
annual meeting on April 16. The
award recognizes the recipient’s
commitment to the civil justice sys-
tem and its role in protecting the
public. Olsman is a past president
of MAJ and is also a member of the
Huntington Woods City
Commission.

Jewish National Fund announced that professional women
who are passionate about Israel now have a new platform
to connect over topics ranging from business to building
the Jewish community. To lead JNF’s Professional Women’s
Division, Florine Mark, president and CEO of the Weight
Watchers Group Inc., has been appointed national spokesper-
son and honorary chair.
