Hills are overjoyed to announce
the engagement of their daughter
Samantha Metzger to Brandon Carrino, son
of Andi and Al Carrino of Long Grove, Ill.
Sam graduated from Indiana University
(Bloomington) with degrees in psychology
and journalism. She continued her education
at Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts,
earning a degree in baking and pastry arts.
Brandon graduated from Northern
Arizona University (Flagstaff) with degrees
in business administration and anthropol-
ogy. He is the vice president of sales/business
development at PureAire Monitoring Systems Inc.
Sam and Brandon live in Superior, Colo. In July, they will exchange their vows
among family and friends at an outdoor wedding in Lyons, Colo.

ou Linden of West Bloomfield will
turn 94 this June. He worked as a
pharmacist after attending Wayne
University. He has been married for 31 years
and has eight children. Lou is a bridge player
and always keeps up on the national and
world news. He also is a very patriotic man
and proud to be a veteran, having served
at the 142nd General Army Hospital in
Calcutta during World War II.
