Rabbi Dana Benson, students enjoyed an out-of-the-
box seder and delicious homemade meal together.

in March at Kol HaOlam,
the national Jewish a capella
competition in Washington, D.C.

Hillel@CMU hosted Holocaust survivor Martin
Lowenberg of Southfield as part of International
Holocaust Remembrance Day. The room was
filled to capacity as he shared his story with
students, faculty a nd community members.

Hillel of Metro Detroit’s basketball

Shamayev, both of Oak Park — advanced
to the second round of the 2016 National
Hillel Basketball Tournament, where
they lost to a tough Yeshiva University
team. HMD’s team ended with a final
record of (2-3).
