TOP: In the wood-paneled living room, wool-covered Ted Boerner chairs, a Niedermaier sofa (also wool) and a Holly Hunt leather club chair provide plenty of seating without being
cramped. “I do a lot of custom lengths of pieces, like this sofa,” Ross says. “I don’t want to force it to work; it has to work together. I’m a little fanatical about scale.”

BOTTOM LEFT: In the master bedroom, silvery-blues contrast with dark-stained cabinetry by EuroCraft, which hides additional storage for linens — and Arkin’s handbag collection.
The A. Rudin ottoman was taken from the house’s original family room and refinished in blue leather for this room; the Donghia chairs were covered in Jane Churchill velvet. A simple-
framed chandelier suspends larger-scale Swarovski crystals for a modern hint of femininity.

BOTTOM RIGHT: An oversized walk-in shower with glass-tile floors steps out to porcelain heated floors in the master bath. Phillip Jeffries woven fabric covers the walls.
