NEIL FINK, 76, of West Bloomfield, died May 8, 2016. He was a compassion- ate friend and mentor to many young law- yers and the last line of defense for untold Fink numbers of people in need. As Justice Stephen Markman of the Michigan Supreme Court recently wrote, “No criminal defense attorney was more highly regarded than Neil Fink.” Neil was known for his skill, integrity and empa- thy. All those he represented knew that he possessed not only the finest legal mind, but also that he truly cared. Mr. Fink was written about in The Michigan Murders, Detroit’s Powers and Personalities, Good Cop, Bad Verdict and countless newspaper and magazine articles. He will be greatly missed by his family, his friends and all of those he touched in the criminal justice system.
