ORT-Michigan will hold its spring
fundraiser, “ORT and the City,” at 6:30
p.m. Thursday, May 19, at Detroit’s
Eastern Market-Shed 5.
Lead sponsor Somerset Collection
has merged its passion for education,

A silent auction will feature Detroit
fashion- and art-themed items,
including original items designed by
CCS students. A strolling dinner will
be provided via various food trucks
in addition to passed hors d’oeuvres,
dessert and an open bar. A graffiti art-
ist will be creating a work for sale to
benefit ORT.
Nicole Eisenberg, Catherine Forbes
and Jessica Kwartowitz are event co-
chairs. Proceeds support ORT, one
of the largest educational organiza-

David B. Hermelin ORT Resource
Center provides free computer train-
ing to Michigan’s unemployed and
underemployed who lack the requisite
computer skills to find meaningful
employment.
Tickets are $100 per person, $180
