Nicole graduated from Michigan State
University with a B.A. in kinesiology. She
earned her master’s in orthotics and pros-
thetics at Eastern Michigan University.
Nicole is an orthotist at Wright and Filippis
Inc.
Scott graduated from the James Madison
College at Michigan State University and
received his law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. He
is an attorney at the Berkley law firm of Liss and Shapero.
A summer 2016 wedding is planned.

Katz-Gershonowicz

J

oanne Katz is excited to announce the
engagement of her daughter Michele
Katz to Josh Gershonowicz, son of Sue
and Abe Gershonowicz. Michele is also the
daughter of the late Steve Katz.
Michele earned her bachelor’s and master’s
of education from Michigan State University
and her certificate in autism from Oakland
University. She teaches children with autism
at Key Elementary in Oak Park.
Josh earned his bachelor of business from
Western Michigan University. He is the
founder and CEO of Rebuild Nation, a digi-
tal advertising agency based in Detroit.
A July 2016 wedding is planned at the Masonic Temple in Detroit.
