Katkowsky 92nd

A

nn Katkowsky of West Bloomfield
turned 92 on April 22. She was
born in Toronto. Ann worked for
many years at the Shifrin & Willens jewelry
store and later worked in a jewelry store in
Florida. She has four children, six grandchil-
dren and soon-to-be nine great-grandchil-
dren. Ann plays mah jong and bridge; and
her family says she is known for her knitting
and her baking.

Fay Smith 90th

F

ay Smith of West Bloomfield turned
90 years old in April. She is an
active woman who enjoys walking,
gardening and being outside. She was born
and raised in Detroit and worked with her
husband, Leslie, in their auto parts business.
They have two daughters, one son and five
grandkids. Fay enjoys baking and art classes
and is known for her sense of humor and
her compassion for others.

of West Bloomfield are thrilled to
be celebrating their 30th wedding
