FRANK SHAENBOEN,
90, of West Bloomfield,
died April 9, 2016.
He was a longtime
pharmacist.
He is survived by
his beloved wife, Sonia
Shaenboen; son, Steve
Shaenboen
Shane of New York
City; grandchild, Eric
Shaenboen; daughter-in-
law, Theresa Matzura; brothers and sister-
in-law, Seymour and Jane Weiner; cousins,
Lori (Kevin) Goldberg, Allen (Lisa) Weiner,
Mark Weiner, Brian (Wendy Frankel) Rubin,
Denise Rubin; many other loving cousins,
other family members and friends.
Frank was the father of the late Michael
Shaenboen; brother-in-law of the late Helen
Rubin and the late Sol Rubin.
Interment was held at Machpelah
Cemetery in Ferndale. Contributions may
be made to Gift of Hope Organ and Tissue
Donor Network. Arrangements by Dorfman
Chapel.

Saks

STANLEY SAKS, 77, of
Southfield, died April 6,
2016.
He is survived by his
daughter and son-in-law,
Heather and Jonathan
Gould of Scottsdale, Ariz.;
grandchildren, Cory and
Mallory Gould, and Jake

and Logan Saks.
He was the loving father of the late Brian
Saks; the devoted son of the late Bernie and
the late Rose Satkoff.

MARTIN B. SHARP, 85, of Farmington,
died April 8, 2016.
He was a docent at the Holocaust
Memorial Center.
Mr. Sharp is survived by his wife, Sandra
Sharp; daughters and son-in-law, Karen
and Steven Bernardy of Livonia, Lori Sharp
of Farmington; brother, David Sharp of
Orlando, Fla.; grandson, Samuel Bernardy;
many loving nieces, nephews, other family
members and friends.
Interment was held at Adat Shalom
Memorial Park in Livonia. Contributions
can be made to the Holocaust Memorial
Center or to Congregation B’nai Moshe.

Sherbin

HELENA POLLOCK
SHERBIN, 82, of
Farmington Hills, died
April 7, 2016.
A graduate of Wayne
State University, she
had been an English
school teacher, a para-
legal, a real estate agent

and a homemaker. She loved to play the
piano and was classically trained.
Mrs. Sherbin is survived by her hus-
band of 60 years, Dr. Herbert Sherbin;
daughters, Dr. Vandy Sherbin of
Portland, Ore., Miriam Sherbin; son, Ian
Sherbin of San Francisco, Calif.; grand-
daughter, Sophia Sherbin Pratt.
Mrs. Sherbin was the dear sister and
sister-in-law of the late Theodore and
the late Rita Pollock, the late Diana and
the late Sam Camen.
