DOROTHY GLICK, 92, of Farmington
Hills, died April 4, 2016.
She is survived by her sons and
daughters-in-law, Dr. Robert and Fran
Glick, Dennis and Peggy Glick, Steven and
Lori Glick; daughter and son-in-law, Terri
and Michael Himelson; grandchildren,
Kevin Glick, Robin (Jason) Sharabani,
Julie (Mark) Henning, Kate (Tim) Bassett,
Molly (Eric) Shapiro, Max Glick, Jeffrey
Himelson (fiancee, Sasha), Rob Himelson
(fiancee, Michelle); great-grandchildren,
Eli, Drew, Tyler and Jack.
Mrs. Glick was the beloved wife of the
late Michael Glick; the sister of the late Abe
(the late Blanche) Duke.
Interment was held at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery in Birmingham. Contributions
may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

GAYLE RAE GOLDMAN, 88, passed
away on April 1, 2016, after several years
of battling debilitating illnesses and condi-
tions. She died peacefully at her home in
Emeryville, Calif.
Gayle was born in Detroit to Maurice
M. and Helen Radner Resnick. She gradu-
ated from Central High School, received
her B.A. degree from the University of
Michigan and earned a master of fine arts
degree from Wayne University.
Gayle spent 15 years as a court reporter
and administrator in the Detroit and
Michigan court systems. Politics and
government fascinated her, and she par-
ticipated actively in the Democratic Party
while she lived in Michigan.
She moved to Southern California in the
early 1980s; there she worked in the fed-
eral court system and the finance industry.
She moved to the Bay area in 2008.
Gayle was a talented craftsperson and
throughout her life was drawn to the fine
arts and all things of beauty. She traveled
extensively in Asia, Europe and Africa.
She loved nature and was committed
to preserving the environment for her
children and grandchildren. She was an

active member of the San Diego Zoological
Society when she lived in Southern
California.
As long as she was able, Gayle continued
to sew, make jewelry, write, read, enjoy
fine food and drink and to keep up with
world events.
Gayle is survived by her beloved brother,
Donn Resnick; his wife, Edie; their fam-
ily; her daughters, Amy and Sue; Sue’s
husband, Tracy Ott; her son, Ron; his wife,
Carol; her grandson, Mac.
A memorial event will be scheduled at
a later date in California. Contributions
may be sent to the Audubon Society or to
Planned Parenthood.

Mrs. Graff was the beloved wife of the
late Emanuel Graff.

RHODA FENBERG
KRAUSS, born Jan. 16,
1924, passed away April
4, 2016.
Her family and
friends always kept
her close because she
deserved it; she earned
this many times over
because of her car-
ing, graciousness and

thoughtfulness.
During World War II, Rhoda and her
mother, Eleanor, transported returning
wounded soldiers for the American Red
Cross. Rhoda and her husband, Fred, were
founding members of Congregation Beth
Shalom, which held its first meetings and
services in the basement of their home
in Oak Park. For a period of time, Rhoda
worked at Beth Shalom as an executive
secretary. She also worked at Adler-
Schnee and later had a business where she
designed and sold printed stationery and
invitations.
Mrs. Krauss will be remembered for her
good humor, her kindness and her contri-
butions to the community.
She is survived by loving in-laws, cous-
ins, nieces and nephews, including Ben
