42ND ANNUAL DINNER

Sara Tugman Bais Chabad Torah
Center will celebrate its 42nd annual
dinner on Lag b’Omer, Thursday,
May 26, at the Jewish Community
Center in West Bloomfield.
Honorees
Neil and
Tansy Craft
will be pre-
sented with
the Keser
Shaim Tov
award. Neil,
the president
of the Torah
Tansy and Neil Craft
Center, has
served on
the board of Bais Chabad for close
to 18 years. Tansy has been Rabbi
Elimelech Silberberg’s indispensable
assistant for more than a decade.
Alan Zekelman and Marty Goodman
are, respectively, chairman and hon-
orary chairman of the event.
The Torah Center will also pay
tribute to the memory of Alex
Ehrmann, Otto Herczeg, Henry
Konstam, Jack and Helen Reisman,
Sam and Sara Weinberger, and Jerry
Zeigler, Holocaust survivors who
were pillars of the Torah Center.

and will feature
a concert given
by the Holocaust
Survivors Band
led by two elderly
Holocaust survi-
Lipa Shmeltzer
vors, Saul Dreier
and Reuben
Sosnowicz from
Florida. They will team up with
Chasidic superstar Lipa Shmeltzer.
There will also be an exhibit of
Holocaust-related art by acclaimed
artist Sam Pruchno, who is also a
survivor.
