r. and Mrs. Robert Mendelson
of West Bloomfield, the
proud parents of Dr. Jessica
Mendelson, are happy to announce the
engagement of their daughter to Dr. Daniel
Silbiger, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark
Silbiger of Cleveland, Ohio.
Jessica will graduate from her inter-
nal medicine residency at Beaumont-
Farmington Hills in June 2016. She will be
an attending physician of internal medicine
at Cleveland Clinic beginning this summer.
Daniel will complete his fellowship as
chief fellow of hematology/oncology at
Karmanos Cancer Institute in June 2016. He will be an attending physician of
hematology/oncology at Case Western Reserve/University Hospitals beginning
this summer.
The couple will reside in Cleveland. A fall 2017 wedding is being planned.

Greenspon of Troy and Charlevoix
are celebrating their 50th wedding
anniversary with a trip to Alaska. They have
two daughters, Gail (Rick) Novak of Shelby
Township and Esther VanKirk (Wouter
Bovendorp) of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
They have been blessed with three grand-
sons, Randall Novak, and Vincent and
Maxwell Bovendorp.

birthday on April 8.
He will celebrate with friends and
family, including his wife, Ceil; children,
Shelli and Michael, Marty and Judy, Alisa,
and Jon and Mindy; grandchildren, Kim
and Bryan, Rick and Penina, Stephanie and
Avi, Noah, Miriam, Tara, Rana, Zoe, Emma
Claire, Josh, Rebecca and Phil, Emily and
Adam; and great-grandchildren, Shira, Ari,
Jake, Eitan, Noam, Nathan, Zevi, Rachel,
Akiva and Elisheva. Jerry is an avid reader,
active synagogue member and participates
in regular Torah study. A former radio
disc jockey, he is the owner of the Specs Howard School of Media Arts and still
spends time at the office daily.
