Canada, died March 21,
2016.
She is survived by her

grandchildren, Michael Passman and
fiancee, Paige Nilson, Megan and Bradley
Krasnick, and Andrew Passman; sister,

nephews and nieces, David and Lois
Laven, and Paul and Wendy Laven.
Mrs. Passman was the cherished mother
of the late Mark Scott Passman; the dear
sister-in-law of the late Harold Laven and
the late Norman Colbert; the loving aunt
of the late Eric Laven.
Interment was at Clover Hill Park

SUSAN “SUSIE” POLLACK, 63, of
Southfield, died March 20, 2016.
She is survived by her sister and
brother-in-law, Debbie and Larry Caplan
of Reisterston, Md., Nancy and James
Gietzen of Helena, Mont.; aunt and uncle,
Sam and Joan Boocker; loving niece, neph-
ews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins
and friends.
Susan was the loving daughter of the
late Abe and the late Rose Pollack.

ity of one’s choice. Interment was held at
Hebrew Memorial Park. Arrangements by

Mr. Rosenthal was the beloved husband
of the late Ester L. Rosenthal.

DAVID WOLOCK, 71,
of Royal Oak, died
March 23, 2016.
He was born on
March 22, 1945. A
kind and caring soul,
David dedicated his life

father, an attorney and public servant, a
precinct delegate, or as a compassionate
and frequent funeral attendee, as well as
in many other ways.
He was the consummate mentsh,
living the ideals of justice, integrity,
respect and chesed (lovingkindness)
every day, supporting and advocating
for those without a voice. In addition,
his one-of-a-kind sense of humor will be
missed.
David was the cherished son of Edith
and Leon Wolock. He was the beloved
husband of Rosemary Wolock for 46
years; devoted father of Jana (Shmuel)
Fried, Rachel (Steven Kish) Wolock
and Lia Wolock; loving grandfather of
Pinchas Fried, Avrahom Yaakov Fried,
Rochel Zosia Fried, Leah Mindel Chaya
Fried, Yehuda Lipman Fried and Lilia
Kish; cherished brother and brother-
in-law of Evelyn (late Arthur) Cowen,
the late Lillian (late Roy) Elliott and the
late Julie (late Jerry) Lucas; dear uncle
of Jeremy (Laura) Elliott, Aaron Elliott,
Sarah (Moshe) Morgenstern, Yitzchak
(Tzipka) Cowen and Terry (Leo Fried)
Cowen, John (Jennifer) Lucas, Cindy
Lucas, and Jennifer (Bill) Bryant. He is
also survived by other loving relatives,
associates and a world of friends.
