He is survived

SHIRLEY LINDY, 92, formerly of
Detroit, died March 27, 2016, in
Westlake Village, Calif.
She served in World War II as a
lieutenant in the U.S. Army Nurses
Corps and was proud to serve her
country.
She was the dear mother of
Jacalyn (Harvey) Hirschhorn, Dr.
Paula (Howard) Kagan, Marc Lindy
(Nanette Capogna) and Malcolm
Lindy; grandmother of Daniel
Hirschhorn (Parker Merrow), Ava
Hirschhorn, Eleanor Kagan, Harry
Kagan, Hannah Lindy (Chikashi
Yamashiro) and Ruben Lindy.
Mrs. Lindy was the beloved wife of
the late Dr. Harry Lindy.

MICHAEL DAVID
LIPSON, 49, of
Canton, Ohio, died
March 25, 2016.
He is survived
by his father and
stepmother, Arnold
and Pola Lipson;

nieces and nephew,
Nadine, Sabrina and
Sascha Fesel; uncles and aunts, Alvin
and Yuriko Lipson, and Sidney and
Barbara Henkin; cousins, Harland
and Giselle Lipson, Aaron and
Jessica Henkin, and Rebecca Henkin;
his adopted family in Ohio, Michele
Williamson, and her daughters,
Crystal and Tessa; countless friends
who all loved his kind and generous
spirit.
Mr. Lipson was the devoted son of
the late Judith Lipson.

Mrs. Malter was the beloved wife
of the late Martin Malter; mother-in-
law of the late Ron Curtis; sister-in-
law of the late Stanley Knapp.
