program, which houses residents from
the South Oakland Shelter. He found
this experience to be very rewarding.

the many mitzvah projects in which
they took part, each felt that volunteer-
ing weekly at the Friendship Circle in
West Bloomfield was the most meaning-
ful. Both felt that being able to make a
real difference in others’ lives was very
rewarding.

Southfield. Ella is the
granddaughter of Ronald and Ava
Wagner, and Debrah Warner and the late
Leon Warner.
Ella is a seventh-grade student at
Norup International School in Oak Park.
For her mitzvah project, she became an
ambassador for the Traveling Tutus, col-
lecting new and used dance costumes
and repurposing them to allow children
all over the world to experience the joy of
dancing.
