A Hebrew teacher for many years,
Mrs. Halfon taught at many synagogues
and temples, including Temple Kol

Congregation B’nai David.
Mrs. Halfon is survived by her daugh-
ters and son-in-law, Florence and Paul
Metz of Novi, Carolyne Alphont; son,
Robert Halfon; brother and sister-in-law,

HOWARD MARTIN KAPLAN, 73, of
Birmingham, died March 10, 2016.
He is survived by his brother and
sister-in-law, Steven and Lisa Kaplan of
West Bloomfield; sister, Roslyn Miller
