TECHNION DEVICE HELPS
INJURED PEOPLE WALK

ReWalk is a wearable robotic exoskel-
eton that provides powered hip and knee
motion to enable individuals with spinal
cord injury to stand upright and walk. It
was designed in Israel by Technion alum-
nus Amit Goffer.
Learn firsthand about the ReWalk sys-
tem as Craig Peters, business development
manager of ReWalk, introduces army
veteran Gene Laureano, who has been
using the system since 2013, at 7 p.m.
Wednesday, April 13, at the Max M. Fisher
Federation Building 6735 Telegraph,
Bloomfield Township.
Laureano will demonstrate the ReWalk
system and will be joined by Pam
Feinberg-Rivkin, R.N., and Joey Selesney
of the Technion to answer questions about
the technology.
RSVP to Susan Schulman at (248) 538-
5425, ext. 110, or sschulman@
