Milen-Nakash

M

iriam and Bruce Milen of
Bloomfield Hills, together with
Alison and Steven Nakash of
Boca Raton, are thrilled to announce the
engagement of their children Rachel Faith
Milen and Michael Ian Nakash.
Rachel graduated from Indiana University
with a degree in fashion apparel merchan-
dising and works in the fashion industry
in New York. Michael graduated from the
University of Miami and is president of
Spectrum Kitchens.
Rachel is the granddaughter of Pearl
Coffman, the late Henry Coffman, and the
late Dorothy and Jack Milen.
A spring 2017 wedding is planned.

oraine Meyer of West Bloomfield
celebrated her 94th birthday with
her children, grandchildren and
great-grandson on March 8. She is a resi-
dent at Meer apartments in West Bloomfield
and enjoys reading, playing Rummikub and
bingo.

Cimmer 90th

E

dith Cimmer marked her 90th
birthday on March 6. She is a
Holocaust survivor, who met her
husband in a liberation camp in Austria. She
has three children, five grandchildren and
two great-grandchildren. Edith resides in an
independent living residence, maintaining
her dignity, in West Bloomfield.
