Temple Emanu-El and an activist for many
causes.
Mrs. Steingold was the devoted mother
of Joel Steingold; daughter of the late Joseph
and Yetta Steingold; sister of the late Ernie,
Willie and Sandra (Vrono) Steingold.

CAROLINE “KERRY”
MIRIAM ROSENTHAL
STUTZ, 96, born July 24,
1919, died Feb. 24, 2016.
During her long, fruit-
ful and exceptional life-
time, she expressed her
accomplishments to her
Stutz
children saying she’d “had
a wonderful life and had
no regrets.” She was clearly a role model and
a central figure within her sphere.
Kerry was a talented, creative musician,
a concert pianist and composer, a graduate
from the University of Michigan School of
Music, a bilingual educator, a gracious home-
maker and hostess, and a devoted matriarch

surrounded by an ever-growing brood of
equally talented and creative offspring spread
across four generations.
She left a legacy of commitment and dedi-
cation to family and community and will be
fondly remembered and greatly missed.
Mrs. Stutz was the beloved wife for 72
years of the late Albert Stutz; the cherished
mother of Sharon Hamilton, Jerry (Kathy)
Stutz, Sidney (Barbara) Stutz, and Benjamin
Stutz; 21 grandchildren, Robin (Peter) Fisher,
Heidi (David) Hall, Jonah Stutz, Ari (Sue)
Stutz, Leah (Randy) Spelling, Tavi Stutz,
