Troy, died Jan. 20, 2016.
He is survived by his parents, Paul
and Karen Forman; daughter, Alyssa
Jill Forman; son, Louis Andrew
Forman; brother, Martin Forman;
many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews
and friends.
Interment was at Machpelah
Cemetery. Contributions may be

LUDWIG “LARRY”
HISS, 86, of Ann
Arbor, died Feb. 8,
2016.
He was born
in Boryslav,
Poland, and was a
Holocaust survivor
Hiss
who immigrated to
the United States in
1947. He served in
the U.S. Army.
Mr. Hiss founded
Glamour Homes,
a custom home
building company
in 1965 and was a
respected builder
for 40 years. He was also an avid
biker, volleyball player and dog
lover. He will be remembered for his
generous spirit and great sense of
humor.
He is survived by his wife of 54
years, Carolyn Hiss; son, Joe Hiss;
daughter and son-in-law, Laura and
Jonathan Ginns; grandsons, Aaron,
Elliot and Oliver Ginns.
Interment was at Arborcrest
Cemetery. Contributions may be
made to United States Holocaust
Memorial Museum, 100 Raoul
Wallenberg Place SW, Washington,

KATZMAN, 91, of
Southfield, died
Feb. 12, 2016.
A member of the
Canadian Airforce
during World War
II, Harry was based
Katzman
in England and flew
back and forth in
the European Theatre.
He was a member of the Jewish
War Veterans, a volunteer with the
Aventura Police Department, a past
president of his condominium asso-
ciation for many years, and a mem-
ber of B’nai B’rith.
Mr. Katzman is survived by his
wife of 66 years, Bettina Katzman;
son and daughter-in-law, Roill and
Jo Anne Katzman of Bloomfield
Hills; daughters and sons-in-law,
Sherilyn and Denny Lisagor of West
Bloomfield, Dharlene and Chuck
Norris of West Bloomfield; sisters,
Kay Haron, Esther Nuss; grandchil-
dren, Jordan Norris, Zachary Norris,
Sara and Ben Kalish, Daniel and
Cindy Katzman, Benjamin Katzman,
Gregory Katzman, Samantha
Katzman, Chuckie and Lanai Norris,
Lauralee Parolo; great-grandchil-
dren, Parker Kalish, Shelby Katzman;
lots of loving nieces, nephews and
other relatives and friends.
He was the dear brother and
brother-in-law of the late Joe and the
late Ruth Katzman, the late Ruben
Haron, the late Abram Nuss, the late
Eva and the late Ben Garrison.
