the engagement of their children, Sophie
Devorah Lester and Brian Matthew LeFevre.
Sophie is a graduate from Eastern
Michigan University with a degree in rec-
reational therapy. She works with autistic
children in their homes.
Brian earned his engineering degree at the
University of Michigan. He is a nuclear engi-
neer employed by DTE Energy.
Everyone is excited for the June 2016 wed-
ding.

Meer Apartments in West
Bloomfield, turned 99 on Jan.
22. He has been married for 75 years to Mae
Bell. They have many children, grandchil-
dren and great-grandchildren who see him
as a “true sweetheart.” He can be seen every
day enjoying working puzzles.
