Crumley of San Antonio, Texas, are
thrilled to announce the engagement of their
children Daniel Aaron Berman and Sara
Michelle Crumley.
Daniel, grandson of the late Edward
and Jeanette Berman, the late Gilbert and
Florence Rubenstein and Ann Rubenstein,
is an alumnus of the University of Michigan
and Camp Tamakwa. He works at Facebook
in the Menlo Park, Calif., headquarters.
Sara, granddaughter of the late Fred
and Florence Crumley, the late Marion
H. Crumley, and Rosendo and Antonia Saucedo, graduated from St. Edward’s
University in Austin, Texas. She is the PR manager at Method, a producer of
planet-friendly home care products.
The couple met in San Francisco, where they reside, and are members of
Congregation Sherith Israel there. An April wedding in Austin is planned.

Bloomfield Hills celebrated their
60th wedding anniversary on Dec.
25 with family and friends. Delighted to
share in the festivities were their children,
Steve Schechter of Franklin and Marla and
Bruce Schechner of Pleasantville, N.Y., along
with loving grandchildren, Laura, Andrew,
Brooke, Brandon, Zoe and great-grandchild

Janet Belmont Conn of Bala Cynwyd,
Pa., happily announce the marriage of their
children Joshua Samuel Kanter and Allison
(Allie) Belmont Conn.
The ceremony took place in Philadelphia,
and Rabbi Yaffa Epstein of Pardes officiated.
Josh attended James Madison College
at Michigan State University and earned
a master’s degree in social work from the
University of Michigan, focusing on Jewish
communal leadership. He works as a plan-
ning executive with the Commission on
Jewish Identity and Renewal at UJA-Federation of New York.
Allie earned a bachelor’s degree at Penn State University and holds a master’s
in experiential Jewish education from the Davidson School of Education at the
Jewish Theological Seminary. She is the director of engagement at Columbia/
Barnard Hillel.
The couple met in 2010 in Ann Arbor while Josh was in graduate school and
Allie was working at the University of Michigan Hillel. He proposed in Jerusalem
in January 2015. They live on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
