Brooke Ashley Bolton
of Oak Park will be
called to the Torah as a
bat mitzvah on
Saturday, Jan. 16, at
Congregation Beth
Shalom in Oak Park.
She is the loving
Bolton
daughter of James and
Bonnie Bolton and sis-
ter of Morgan and Jordan. Sharing in her
simchah will be proud grandparents
Jeffrey and Joy Harris, and Allen Gonte.
She is also the grandchild of the late
Robert and Barbara Bolton. Brooke is the
great-granddaughter of Marilyn Epstein
and the late Marvin Epstein, the late Sam
and Roz Gonte.
Brooke attends Norup International
School in Oak Park. As part of her many
meaningful mitzvah experiences, she vol-
unteered at Beth Shalom during Holidays
for the Homeless in Oak Park.
Natalie Grace Cooper,
daughter of Carol
Lynn and Dr. Adam S.
Cooper, will read from
the Torah as she
becomes a bat mitzvah
at Temple Israel in
West Bloomfield on
Cooper
Saturday, Jan. 16. She
will be joined in cele-
bration by her siblings W. Hunter and
Claudia, and her proud grandparents
Carol and Gerson Cooper. Natalie is also
the grandchild of the late Ernestine and
the late Howard Symonds.
Natalie is a student at West Hills
Middle School in Bloomfield Hills. As
part of her mitzvah projects, she hosted a
party to make Mi Shebeirach blankets for
the patients staying at Children’s Hospital.
She found this experience to have special
meaning as Natalie herself was once a
recipient of a special blanket during a stay
at that hospital.

Matt and Lauren (Hillman) Beardsley of St. Clair Shores are
thrilled to announce the birth of their son, Benjamin James
Beardsley. Proud grandparents are Stephen Hillman and
Cynthia Kratchman of Bloomfield Hills, Maxine Hillman of
Henderson, Nev., and Don and Erika Beardsley of St. Clair
Shores. Benjamin is the great-grandson of Karen Hillman of
Trumbull, Conn., and the late H.M Hillman. He is also the
great-grandson of the late Fanny and Nathaniel Gole and the
late Herb and Jeanette Shohet.

He is the son of

and Jeffrey Ingber of West Bloomfield,
and great-grandfather Dan Feldman of
Southfield.
Andrew attends Abbott Middle
School in West Bloomfield. For his
mitzvah project, he volunteered at the
Lighthouse of Oakland County and
Habitat for Humanity.
Luke Turner

vah on Saturday, Jan.
16, at Raleigh Movie
Studio in Pontiac. He
is the son of Roz and
Scott Jacobson, the
Jacobson
brother of Max and
Cole, and the grand-
son of Mildred Jacobson and the late
Ted Jacobson.
Luke is a seventh-grader at Detroit
Country Day School in Beverly Hills.
For his mitzvah project, he helped feed
the homeless and has gathered toys to
give to children of families in need dur-
ing the holidays.
Alex Isaac Miller
will be called to the
Torah as a bar mitz-
vah on Saturday, Jan.
16, at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek in
Southfield. He is the
loving son of
Alex Miller
Stephanie and
Matthew Miller and
twin brother of Jacob. Proud grandpar-
ents are Lily and David Broner, and
Beverly and Martin Miller.
Alex is a seventh-grader at
Cranbrook Kingswood Middle School
for Boys in Bloomfield Hills. For
his main mitzvah project, he volun-
teered with PeerCorps at the Bethel
Community Center, helping with vari-
ous projects.
