Mr. Levett is survived by his chil-
dren, Steven and Terry Levett of
Farmington Hills, Diane Levett Dupius
and Dan Dupius of Ortonville, Glenn
Levett of Lake Odessa; grandchildren,
Sarah Levett, Lindsay Martinek,
Heather and Jonathan Wood, David
Levett; great-grandchildren, Emma
Rose Wood, Caden Scott Wood; broth-
er-in-law, Stanley Levine.
He was the beloved husband of the
late Rozlyn Levett; dear brother and
brother-in-law of the late Roy and the
late Marilyn Levett, and the late Phyliss
Levine.

BARBARA JOAN LINDE, 70, died
Jan. 9, 2016, in Minneapolis, Minn.
She was born in Detroit, graduated
from Wayne State University and mar-
ried in 1967. She put her energy into
teaching elementary school, designing
jewelry and other creative pursuits,
including working as her husband’s
office manager, teaching reading to
children with emotional and behavioral
disorders, doing volunteer work and
raising two daughters.
Mrs. Linde loved cooking, mah
jongg, reading and travel. She
embarked on the adventure of moving
to Minneapolis after retirement to live
near her daughters. She was a member
of Temple Israel in West Bloomfield
and Temple Sinai in Atlanta, Ga.
She is survived by her daughter
and son-in-law, Dr. Jennifer Linde
and Julian Bernick; daughter, Melissa
Linde and fiance, Mike Wilson; beloved
granddaughter, Hazel Martin Wilson;
brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Ronald
and Adele Gelb; in-laws, Marilynn and
Maynard Flusty, and Drs. Harold Linde
and Marilyn Allen; nieces, nephews
and dear friends across the country.
Mrs. Linde was preceded in death by
her husband of 31 years, Dr. Martin S.
Linde.
