The Jewish Federation of
Metropolitan Detroit announced
that two of its longstanding com-
munity leaders, John Jacobs and
Neil Satovsky were recognized as
Federation's 2015 Distinguished
Volunteers by the Association of
Fundraising Professionals at its
National Philanthropy Day dinner.
Jacobs has devoted of him-
self to the Jewish Federation,
including serving on its Board of
Governors, Real Estate and Property
Management Committee, co-chair of
the Commission on Jewish Eldercare
Services, co-chair of the Government
Relations Oversight Committee and
vice chair of JVS.
Satovsky has played a major vol-
unteer role in the Detroit Jewish
community for decades, includ-
ing serving as president of the
Jewish Federation Apartments of
Metropolitan Detroit (now part of
Jewish Senior Life), chair of the
Federation's Real Estate Division and
member of Federation's Planning and
Steering Committee.

its prestigious 2015 Hal Madden
Outstanding Service Award. This
honor recognizes the personal and

of mental health disorders as well
as enhanced the lives of those who
receive services.

Daniel Ginsberg
Leadership Award
to outstanding
candidates from

who demonstrate knowledge of and
working commitment to the policies
and activities of ADL, as well as those

late Daniel R. Ginsberg, a former
New York Regional Board Chairman
