Create a DREIDEL SNOW GLOBE with four Ball jars and extra-
large colorful dreidels. Hot glue each dreidel to the bottom of
the jar top. Fill the bottom of the right-side-up jar with shimmery
craft-store faux snow and screw the cap on. Turn the jar upside-
down and — voila! Line the jars together on a mantel or on a
table for a holiday centerpiece.

We love everything that Ciaran Blumenfeld touches. The blogger at Momfluential.net has tons of
family-friendly crafts, many Jewish-themed, on her site, including this DIY EDIBLE MENORAH. "It
won't last eight nights," she writes, "but it will light up your children's eyes." Layer gelt, peanut-butter
cups, marshmallow twists and top with orange slices gumdrops for flames. "Took about 10 minutes to
assembler Blumenfeld says. "Less for our crowd to devour

Another treat from blogger Ciaran Blumenfeld: a BRATZ DOLL
BOOT MENORAH. Collect an assortment of Bratz or Barbie
boots, saving the tallest stacked heel for the center shamash.
Spray paint the boots and a scrap-wood base; sprinkle with
dusting of glitter while the paint is still wet. Hot glue the shoes
to the base. For this one and the Plastic Dinosaur Menorah, you
can either tent the candles with foil for safety, or use glow sticks.

Collect an assortment of miniature bottles for Blumenfeld's
UPCYCLED BOTTLE MENORAH
great for display on a mantel.
The blogger recommends multiple bottle shapes but likes the
continuity of a similar color (she found these at Michael's). If
candles are loose, try a bit of beeswax to secure; if they're tight,
shave down the ends a bit."Sometimes," Blumenfeld says, "the
simplest stuff is the most perfect:'

For this PLASTIC DINOSAUR MENORAH, Blumenfeld collected
nine plastic dinosaurs (buy them in a bag at Target or the local
dollar store) and nine plastic birthday-candle holders. Drill or nail
holes in each dino, hot-glue the candle holders into the holes and
spray paint the dinos and the base."We created a little spray-
tanning dino booth for our little friends from an IKEA container
on its side;' Blumenfeld says. "The key is several light coats from
multiple angles" Let dry for 24 hours. Hot glue onto the base and
have a very Jurassic Chanukah.
