During the first decade of Barbra Streisand's arrival in Hollywood in the 1970s, a pair of leading photojournalists, Steve Schapiro and Lawrence Schiller,
tagged along for the ride. The photographs they shot — more than half of which had never been published — along with the behind-the-scenes stories,
have now been collected in BARBRA STREISAND ($750), limited to 1,200 copies signed by Schapiro and Schiller. Published by German art-book pub-
lisher Taschen, which treats books as works of art themselves, the collection includes Streisand in Funny Girl, The Way We Were, A Star is Born and more,
alongside Elliott Gould, William Wyler, Vincente Minnelli, Robert Redford, Kris Kristofferson and other leading men and friends, both on set and off.
